The most lost human sheep is always the happiest.
3ds max, Lightwave 3D
October 2006

This is a compilation of 4 pictures with principally the same geometry (with slight modifications).
Overall it has turned out as an experiment with texturemapping beyond the usual skin
I also tried to enhance the effect with slicing the geometry and using a kind of porcelain-shader (top left).

referring to the title:
"The most lost human sheep is always the happiest"
not only it consists of weathered skin and porcelain
but because...
it begets the rare opportunity of developing an own mindset...
although it is cold at night without the surrounding warm flesh of the flock...not knowing their purpose...

for the technical side:
modelling was done mostly in Modo, but also Max...
I used Brazil for rendering, 1 Area + Skylight...
also a test with fprime (bottom left)
the pic top-right has rendered brazil-DOF...
finally I did polishing and the little ornaments with Photoshop...

critics are always welcome...
thanks for watching...
